Residence life outreach draft

Hi Residence Life Team,

I’m building Laundrypal, a student-facing mobile app designed to make shared laundry in campus housing much easier.

The problem is small, but constant: students walk to the laundry room and find everything full, forget finished loads, or get frustrated when there is no clear, fair way to queue. Those moments keep showing up as avoidable complaints for housing teams.

Laundrypal gives students a simple mobile experience to check machine availability, scan the exact washer or dryer they are using, start their cycle, and get a reminder when it is done. For residence life, it is meant to feel like a lightweight amenity, not a heavy software rollout.
